Good restaurant right on the Oedter See. Fast service and kitchen, versatile food, beautiful view and nice clean ambience. The food is tasty and comes in large portions. The service is friendly and (update April 2019) the boss has obviously taken the criticism to heart and is now friendly and accommodating. So service is very nice and friendly. Fast operation and fast preparation. Only the prices are excessive. 10-12 euros for a pizza or Greek salad, which is even above the average even with the very large portions.

Not recommendable. There was no waiter after 10 minutes, maybe because we were with small children in the restaurant.

Very sympathetic service, at full house sometimes a bit overwhelmed. The amount and quality of the food compensated but in any case for a longer wait. Prices in the middle segment and guest garden with a beautiful view of the bathing lake.

I asked for a plaster in the Seestern restaurant because my partner's foot was injured.At the bar, the waiter said they didn't have one.After I checked again that there should be a first-aid kit in a restaurant, the waiter only said whether I didn't see that they were stressed and that they had no time for something like that.It is a pity that the quality of the staff is not important here.There was more going on in the gallery directly in Traun, but that wasn't a problem at all.

The restaurant blew us away completely and completely. Great value for money. The location is super easy to reach! The good transport connections make a food trip quickly feasible. In my view, a detour to the restaurant is highly recommended. Very brisk and nice service. I think all the staff there did a great job.

!!CAUTION!! Owner of the restaurant insults his own employees, but also guests! Some regular customers have already left as this manner is NOT acceptable and submissive. If you don't want to SUPPORT this, I can only advise you not to support this restaurant with this owner!

Der Wirt oder Pächter ist absolut unfreundlich. Anstatt sich um seine Gäste zu bemühen, kommt es soweit, dass er 4 Leute primitiv anlegt, er habe vergessen zu reservieren, für die anderen 5, wir sollen uns wo anders hinsetzen. Es waren 2 kleine Tische frei, die 2 Tische zusammenzustellen, war wohl zu viel Arbeit. Wäre er nicht am Nachmittag schon so frech zu meinen Töchtern und deren Freund gewesen, normal zahlt der Mann, bist wohl kein Österreicher, hätten wir uns eventuell noch umgesetzt. Aber gut, es gibt anscheinend noch Wirte, die auf Gäste nicht angewiesen sind.

Very nice restaurant on the Oedersee. Go there often. Food is also delicious. You are served quickly and friendly.

A bit expensive. The pizza was then but also large (but unfortunately only lukewarm). All ordered food was very delicious, the atmosphere could work a bit.

Cozy restaurant. Very friendly staff. Children welcome. The view of the lake makes you think of a holiday ... the homemade lasagna is highly recommended!

*NIE WIEDER!!!!* Gäste so wie auch die Mitarbeiter werden VOM INHABER BLOßGESTELLT. Mein Partner und ich haben einen Grünen Salat bestellt und einen Gemischten Salat bekommen. Wir haben den Kellner( welcher auch sehr höflich war) darauf hingewiesen. Er hat es der Küche weiter geleitet. Daraufhin kam der Inhaber mit einem Salathäupel herausgestellt und BRÜLLTE uns an: "seid Ihr diejenigen, die sich beschweren über mein Essen?" Wir versuchten ihm zu erklären, dass das Essen nicht schlecht sei, nur nicht das was wir bestellt haben/ wollten. Doch er kam nicht runter und BRÜLLTE WEITER UND WEITER: "Glaubt ihr ich gebe euch Gras aus dem Garten zu essen? Das ist sehr teurer Salat!!!!" Der Kellner hat sich nach dieser Scene bei uns entschuldigt, aber wir mussten den vollen Preis (14€ für einen Salt den wir so nicht bestellt haben) bezahlen.

Restaurant would be nice to sit. Staff also nice but host very rude. Wanted to put a table in the shade as it was very hot in the sun and no umbrellas were available but unfortunately was impossible because the boss said that is not possible we have to go in the nice weather in the local. Can not recommend it if you are personally treated by the boss.

We were today on 01.07.2019 so about 16:30 clock to 17:30 clock at this local drink and eat. The food was basically ok, only the host extremely rude! He is almost forced to order a drink even though half the table has not even been drunk. It was the garden almost empty and also at the table next to us tried the host to blackmail the consuming guests. "If you do not order something you have to go." Not all of them were allowed to drink at the table.A few weeks ago was an acid and expired milk in cappuccino ..! Here, instead of an apology, there was the statement: "Can happen". I can only advise everyone from this place. Hopefully there will be another owner soon because the location would be great.

Very nice place at the lake, but the friendliness and motivation of the waiters left something to be desired - over 40 minutes for a beer which was finally served in a dirty glass. When paying, the waiter could not give out and went in to get change ... presumably he is still looking since we have not seen him again ...

Too little raspberry sauce for those who love hot food

Yesterday we were 8 adults and 3 children eating in the starfish.Different foods consumed.Conclusion: nice large portions, each of us tasted very good. Staff was friendly ........ there was nothing to complain about.Would love to come back.Lg Hans from Linz

We were as a family of four in the starfish for dinner. The whole thing can only be described in one word: phenomenal !.We tasted almost through the menu of the fine pumpkin cream soup, over the finest pepper steak and lamb chops both grilled to the point to an excellent roast pork. The whole thing was completed by an excellently tuned pear tart with wonderful coconut ice cream.Everything was very consistent and at fair prices, accompanied by nice staff and good wines.We will be back!

Food very good. However, if I order a fish plate for 2 persons, I would also like to have an extra plate per person and a serving set. Was on 1st demand also 1 plate and after further questions also the 2nd made available on payment was then explained, because otherwise this is the case, only because of the large Andranges was overlooked.Pizza very good and huge. Good food and inviting garden at the Ödsee

Very nice and friendly staff but had to wait longer for my salad than for my girlfriend's pizza the salad at 6.50 was well, very lean salad not fresh, little balsamic vinegar and with cocktail tomatoes that was exactly 2 pieces and hardly any parmesan for this price much too overpriced.

If you in a swimming pool canteen such a good pizza and a good roast pork as here, then you can only be very satisfied, the service was very friendly and nice, the restaurant is also accessible without a visit to the bath, and in the surroundings of the pond a walk, but you can take on the walk no dogs, they are not allowed ... We are therefore only in the restaurant and have the good food and the beautiful view very much enjoyed.

Food very good but high price level

Was in the restaurant for a short time today because my girlfriend urgently had to go to the toilet, we were jogging and due to the weather the shoes were slightly dirty, we had intended to consume here because I used to eat here often and had very good memories and experiences had collected with the previous owners who were very friendly. In all cases, as was waiting for my girlfriend, the somewhat overweight, unappealing new owner of this restaurant came and rudely asked me to leave the house because my shoes were dirty and he would have to clean everything again. 😡So I understand that it is difficult to scrub the floor with the wipers briefly with a weight of 50 KG but that you can chase away a potential clientele in this way 🤔 will probably be able to afford to deal with the guests but very, very inhumane by the way, bad people like that, hope and soon wish me a new local operator with a heart like the previous owner.

We ate very well! Very friendly, almost family service! If you like really good and fresh salad eats is not disappointed! Only a little more love for the table decoration would do the restaurant good. We'll be back!
